Air Conditioning Repair Service: Upon responding to a service call regarding an air conditioner's insufficient cooling performance, I conducted a thorough inspection. It became apparent during the investigation that the refrigerant levels were significantly depleted, severely impacting the unit's cooling efficiency. To address this issue, I meticulously replenished the refrigerant, ensuring it reached the optimal level necessary for effective cooling. Subsequently, I conducted rigorous testing to confirm the system's capability to deliver the desired cooling capacity and comfort. Once optimal functionality was confirmed, I shared information about our maintenance plans with the homeowner to ensure the sustained excellent performance of their system.

Performed maintenance on 2 systems. Changed 20-25-5 filter and 20-25-4 filter. Found failing capacitors on both blower motors and replaced to avoid any potential issues. Cleaned coils on AC systems and found them to be running properly at this time. Verified working status of surge protection on each piece of equipment. Renewed maintenance for another year.

Replaced filter for no charge per Justin.

Maintenance on 8 yr old Fujitsu mini split. Added one pound of r410a to the system. Blower wheel has a build up of dirt on it and unit appears to have some mold growth on it. Left quotes for wheel cleaning and air cleaner for unit.

Leak repair

Found evaporator coil upstairs completely frozen up when I arrived as well as the compressor and line set outside. Turned AC off and left fan running to allow coil to thaw out. Scheduled service call for 6-21-23 between 12-5 to give system time to thaw out. Believe system should still be under warranty. Ruud system was in good working order, customer is getting new filters for the equipment. Renewed comfort club for another year.

Maintenance check on 26 yr old hvac system. Draft motor was leaking a lil bit of water. Removed and applied some silicone to help stop leak. Other than that the system is running just fine. Only thing going against it is age.

Capped off side return, moved filter rack to top of furnace and connected plenum into return trunk. Capped off return drop. Re-situated flex duct that was kinked over the boards above furnace and strapped it to the bottom of the boards to remove the harsh bend. Added insulation to return drop and plenum. Added insulation to supply plenum. Moved exhaust vent to exit furnace from the side rather than the top to allow for filter and blower access. Re-affirmed airflow and refrigerant charge. Added a few ounces to achieve 12° subcooling.

2010 American standard split system using Skuttle 16x25x5 filter. Replaced filter, all other checks good at this time. Customer also has another property serviced through us and if possible hope to re align in future to same time frame of checks.

Customer has 16x25x5 Skuttle filter box and with the change in filter brand was having a little resistance trying to get the Trion filter in the Skuttle box. Mentioned method to possibly help get them in and also that a 4”wide box should suffice as well if issue persists

Performed promo AC check on equipment. System is 21 years old but at this time is still functioning properly. Customer had already cleaned system out before I got there and filter was still in good condition. All checks were good. Quoted price for maintenance agreement.

2021 Amana split system using AA213 filter. Replaced filter. All checks good at this time. Customer set to renew Oct 2023

Performed yearly maintenance on the air conditioning under the Cozy Plus Comfort plan. Everything checked out properly.

Resolved issue of dirty humidifier drain line. Changed AA213 filter and performed maintenance on the equipment. Found no issues at this time. Recommended surge protection for system.

2021 Heil split system using AA413 filter. All checks good at this time. Customer would like to wait to decide on renewing Cozy HVAC Plan.

Customer was not interested in cozy plan because he is selling the house

2 yr old ruud heat pump. Customer says unit was freezing inside toward end of day. Verified fan speeds and filter was clean. Air handler is in laundry room and pulls return from in there(modular home), explained to customer door should stay shut otherwise it will block return airflow to the system. Sensing bulb for txv was upside down so I corrected placement of it. Ran system and verified refrigerant levels are in line and we are running with 12 degree sub cooling. Customer expressed concern with dust in the home so we installed the plasma air cleaner to help with that issue and give the customer cleaner air to breathe.

Replaced Evap coil under warranty

Performed anniversary check on equipment. Changed AA213 filter and verified working status of surge protection, humidifier and dehumidifier. Found no issues with the equipment at this time. Discussed maintenance agreement with customer. Sent quote for maintenance agreement and left brochure for customer to look over.

2020 Ruud split system w/ Skuttle 16x25x5 filter and AA600 humidifier. All checks good at this time. Replaced air filter and water panel to humidifier. Customer is current on agreement thru Oct’23.

2016 York split system using AA413 filter. Cleaned units and adjusted gas pressure for single stage furnace from 4.2”wc to 3.7”wc to get closer to range. Changed filter, also during cooling check system initially was not getting line temp as quickly as “normal” for a r410a refrigerant. However, after further time inspecting and general clearing of restrictions the system started to actually cool before leaving and spoke with customer to monitor what they are getting in the home. If they feel it isn’t keeping up with this approaching warmer weather, will call back in to check if refrigerant is possibly low. **For customers knowledge, if interested to adjust Cozy plan in the future, we DO offer a 2visit Cozy Plus HVAC plan and they are not limited to just a 1 visit. Approx an $80 difference in price, being $249 + tax annually, or if you simply want to adjust current plan you would pay the difference from your existing $169 plan.

Evaporator coil is now leaking refrigerant. Ordering Evap coil under warranty. Refilled unit so customer can have cooling until coil comes in.
